More about the People’s Brand ranking: the annual survey of the appeal of French retailers is carried out by the professional services firm E&Y. A panel of 7,000 French consumers answer questions online and score 250 brands from 17 different business sectors. The final ranking is based on 11 different factors including the selection of items available, price, value for money, the practical aspects of the range and the services provided. The aim of the ranking is to help consumers navigate the myriad of products and services on the market using peer reviews.
