Innovation: Okaïdi launches its first cotton t-shirts made from recycled clothes

It’s a first in Europe! 🍾🥇🏆

Tuesday 15th September 2020, Okaïdi  and the European Centre for Innovative Textiles is launching the two first ever t-shirts made with 60% cotton from recycled clothes and 40% organic cotton.

Marie Buttet, Okaïdi Market Manager and Mara Poggio, head of the Sustainable Development Department at the CETI explain all the challenges of this R&D and innovation initiative. Basically:  closing the circle in cotton’s circular economy!

  • Available from okaidi.fr and in selected Okaïdi stores in France
