GO LIVE DATE FOR THE JACADI TAIWAN STORE

Taiwan launched its e-commerce website on 8th June. The country is home to Amun, Jacadi’s oldest partner in Asia (having been partners for almost 30 years!)

We talked to Laura, Jacadi’s International Digital Manager, and Marion, Web Coordinator for Asia, to find out more about the project. 

  • How long did it take to launch this website? 

5 months

  • Which technical solution was selected, and why? 

Jacadi.tw is the fourth website on our partner web platform developed in conjunction with World Sellers. It guarantees our global French website is constantly aligned with those of our partners. It’s a ready-made solution for our partners: the websites are initially developed on Prestashop, a user-friendly e-commerce platform, then we provide support to our partners in running the website once it is open.

  • What was the main challenge? 

We had anticipated two main stumbling blocks for this project: 

1/ the language. This is our first website in traditional Chinese. 

2/ the partner’s lack of digital experience. Thanks to the Prestashop platform and World Sellers’ export expertise, implementing the Chinese template was relatively easy. 

But Amun’s boundless motivation and professionalism meant we could progress through the various stages of the project with ease. And we will, of course, continue to support them as they develop their e-commerce expertise. 

  • Which services are available to our Taiwanese customers via the local Jacadi e-store? 

Online purchasing of all the Jacadi products in Taiwan: newborn clothing and accessories, childrenswear and nursery equipment. 

We offer a 360° online experience: 

  • the image has exactly the same look and feel as the original French branding, with the same e-merchandising, identical packaging for the gift box, etc.
  • Brand communication is via email and text, with interaction on Instagram.
  • Home delivery and returns within 7 days.
  • Customer service communication via messenger, email and messages posted on the website.
