From 2 to 15 October 2018, the entire \u00cfDKIDS community will pull together to support this campaign, raising money for children in hospital.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For the third year running, Oka\u00efdi-Oba\u00efbi, Oxybul, Jacadi and \u00cfDKIDS will be asking their customers to support children in hospital by buying a red nose for 1 euro in store and online. All of the profits raised from the sale of the red noses will be donated to the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Fran\u00e7aise des Associations de Clowns Hospitaliers<\/a>, a partner of the \u00cfDKIDS endowment fund.<\/a><\/p>\n

In France, one in every two children is hospitalized at least once by the age of 15. This can be a traumatic experience for them and their loved ones. The funny antics of the hospital clowns help them to relax and smile again at this difficult time. The clowns are all professionals with theatrical, clowning and medical training. The F\u00e9d\u00e9ration is made up of 12 different charities, including Le Rire M\u00e9decin<\/a> and Les Clowns de l\u2019Espoir<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Clowns and volunteers from the charities will be on hand in Oxybul and \u00cfDKIDS stores to talk about how clowns can help children in hospital.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The campaign will also run internationally and in French overseas d\u00e9partements and territories <\/strong>(Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Canada, Poland, Japan, Bosnia, R\u00e9union, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Malta, Saint Martin and Greece). <\/strong>The funds raised will be donated to local charities that help sick children in their country.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This campaign is a perfect example of the \u00cfDKIDS community culture built on energy, optimism and, of course, SHERBET (<\/strong>Smile, Hello, Eye contact, Regard, Bye, Enfant, Thank you) \u2014 the positive, generous attitude shown by every employee. It forms the basis of We Act For Kids and is reflected in our logo. We truly believe that all positive relationships start with a smile. <\/strong><\/p>\n

On 5 October, World Smile Day,<\/strong> our employees will be more motivated than ever to spread happiness and community spirit among customers, colleagues, friends and family. It’s a great example of a positive epidemic!<\/p>\n

Last year, our generous customers and committed staff raised \u20ac37,860 from the sale of 122,000 red noses (75,722 in France), which was donated to the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Fran\u00e7aise des Associations de Clowns Hospitaliers. <\/strong>Let\u2019s get smiling again this year and raise even more money for children in hospital! <\/strong><\/p>\n
