Every year a panel of judges meets to decide which ventures they will help to implement. <strong>A way of making it clear to younger generations that good ideas can make a difference.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By taking part in Good World, children or groups of children can put forward an idea to improve daily life in their city, their country or the world.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2un_RHuA8YA\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><strong>Using the platform children can:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit projects, individually or as a group, with a socially relevant theme.<\/li>\n<li>View projects carried out by children all over the world for inspiration.<\/li>\n<li>Find out about charities and NGOs they could partner with to implement their project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In 2014, 13-year-old Maeva decided to organize a clothing collection at her school. Oka\u00efdi helped her put it together and drop off the donated clothing at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.restosducoeur.org\/nos-actions\/restos-bebes-du-coeur\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Restos des B\u00e9b\u00e9s<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hfSTLnVVKro\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>In 2015, 8-year-old Yuna wanted to arrange a treasure hunt and rubbish collection drive at the beach. Thanks to Good World, she and her classmates spent an educational day picking up rubbish and finding out more about ocean ecology with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surfrider.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Surfrider<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FVuR5p6u5m0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>The following themes have been chosen this year, all in line with Oka\u00efdi&#8217;s values:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GOOD NATURE: environmental projects.<\/li>\n<li>GOOD DIVERSITY: projects focusing on community living.<\/li>\n<li>GOOD GENEROSITY: projects focusing on solidarity.<\/li>\n<li>GOOD ENERGY: sporting projects.<\/li>\n<li>GOOD CREATIVITY: art and music projects.<\/li>\n<li>GOOD CURIOSITY: educational projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The projects are judged on the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Feasibility: is the idea technically, financially and legally viable for Good World?<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility: is the idea true to the values of Good World and the chosen themes?<\/li>\n<li>Universality: does the venture benefit individuals and groups?<\/li>\n<li>Involvement: is the venture undertaken solely by a child or group of children?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>The five most popular projects in each category will be assessed by a panel of judges <\/strong>comprising C\u00e9cile Delivre (head of the \u00cfDKIDS foundation), Oka\u00efdi employees, children from We Are World Citizens, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/iofcCATS\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CATS<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surfrider.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Surfrider<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.playbacpresse.fr\/boutique.97.les-abonnements-au-petit-quotidien.php?gclid=CPrimpHqrtYCFQSfGwodlzQITg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Play Bac<\/a>. <strong>Once deliberations are complete, one venture from each category will be selected and given help and funding of 3,500 euros by Oka\u00efdi or the \u00cfDKIDS foundation, depending on the theme.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Children can submit their projects between <strong>20 November 2017 and 9 March 2018<\/strong>.
