Giving littlies’ shoes a second life!

Since 4 September Jacadi has offered members of its loyalty programme the chance to give too-small shoes a second life through its partnership with Le Relais.

ÏDKIDS set up the ÏDTROC and Love Bag recycling programmes to give its customers the opportunity to act in a more environmentally-friendly way. In September Jacadi launched its own campaign to offer its loyalty club members the chance to bring their too-small shoes into its stores.

They are then recycled or reused in partnership with Le Relais, a network of companies that has been helping excluded individuals back into the workplace for 30 years. The donated shoes get a new lease of life by being resold, donated or recycled. This community initiative will soon be a permanent fixture in all Jacadi stores in France selling footwear.

The aim is to make this a Europewide programme from 2018. Donors will be rewarded with a special offer on a brand new pair of shoes from the current collection.  This goodwill gesture not only puts old shoes back on their feet but also creates permanent jobs!
