Domitille and Amaury in Part 1 of “Georgia”

The musical will be staged on 3 February at La Cigale in support of SOS Children’s Villages.

Domitille and Amaury will perform in Part 1 of Georgia – Tous Mes Rêves Chantent with extracts from their album Simple Comme Bonjour. Produced by Joyvox, the ÏDKIDS music label, the songs feature the sensitive and engaging poetry of Jacques Prévert. A chance to go on a heartfelt poetic journey that children and grown-ups can enjoy together!

“Georgia, Tous Mes Rêves Chantent” is based on an audiobook released in November 2016 by Gallimard Jeunesse which was highly regarded by the press and a big hit with children. Its success led to its adaptation as a musical for young and old alike. Amandine Bourgeois, winner of the 6th season of La Nouvelle Star, is one of the performers.

In addition to the music there is a strong community focus as the show is in aid of SOS Children’s Villages. This charity takes care of children in France and abroad who have no parental support or risk losing it. Its aim is to give childhood back to children who have been disadvantaged in life. It mainly works to keep together siblings who are in foster care and have entered the justice system.

This great project will put the issue of disadvantaged children centre stage on the French cultural scene.

You can even win tickets by entering the competition on the Domitille and Amaury Facebook page. You have to be in it to win it! Winners will be drawn on Monday 29 January.
